Located in the Var, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, Southern France, the 7-kilometer-long, 3-kilometer-wide Porquerolles Island is part of the Hyères municipality and of the Port-Cros National Park.
Porquerolles Island is accessible by boat (a 15-minute crossing from La Tour Fondue ) and can be visited by foot or on bicycle.
The site is at 680 steps from the port and the village, and 260 steps from the beach. The Fondation is located in the Courtade plain, a 10-minute walk from the Port and village.
The reservation of your TLV shuttle to cross the Fondue Tower in Porquerolles is now compulsory in July and August. Book your crossing here.

The Villa and its gardens are closed to the public. Reopening April 2023.

July and August: 10am-7pm (last entrance 5pm-5:30pm) + on Thursday, opening until 10pm (last entrance 8pm-8:30pm)

Preparations
Come with soft-soled shoes to visit the gardens and plan to remove them to visit the building. The visit is made barefoot.
Strollers must be left at the entrance to the Villa. They are not allowed inside the building. A baby carrier may be required. Strollers can be collected for the garden tour.
Dogs are not allowed. except for assistance dog
The Fondation Carmignac is located on a protected site, rich of various rare and fragile plant species. We ask our visitors to comply with the Port-Cros National Park’s regulations and in particular the prohibition of smoking, littering, picnicking and picking plants.
